The Minister of Sports of the Kaluga Region expressed gratitude to the company "AGRISOVGAZ" for its contribution to the development of hockey in the Kaluga region.

Kaluga Region Sports Minister Oleg Eduardovich Serdyukov expressed gratitude to AGRISOVGAZ and personally to General Director Maxim Mikhailovich Yakibchuk for their significant contribution to the popularization and development of hockey in the Kaluga Region.

At this meeting, which took place in early June, issues related to popularizing this sport among the population, improving the skills of hockey players, and expanding the geography of this tournament were discussed. Plans include developing amateur hockey throughout the Kaluga region.

AGRISOVGAZ actively supports the Kaluga Region Night Hockey League (NHL), serving as its general sponsor. In February, they organized a large-scale joint event, the first held in the region for over 13 years: the Regional Stage Final of the 13th All-Russian Amateur Hockey Tournament for the 2023/2024 season in the Kaluga Region. Over 1,000 people attended.

The ASG team, which won the regional stage, represented the Kaluga Region at the All-Russian Hockey Festival in Sochi. This was an excellent start for improving the players' athletic skills – some surpassed their records and showed good results.

"We've announced that our region is now on the Russian hockey map. As the general sponsor of the NHL in the Kaluga Region, we will create all the conditions for both team training and hosting similar competitions in the region," comments Maxim Mikhailovich Yakibchuk.
