SUBSTATION RECONSTRUCTION: REPUBLIC OF BELARUS, CITY OF POLOTSK

AGRISOVGAZ took part in the production of metal supports for high-voltage power transmission lines as part of the project to reconstruct the Polotskaya-330 substation in Polotsk (Republic of Belarus).

Customer: RUE Vitebskenergo with the support of the dealer AB-RETAIL LLC (Republic of Belarus).

The Polotskaya-330 substation, commissioned in 1970-1971, currently suffers from significant wear and tear not only of its equipment but also of its overhead line supports, increasing the risk of power outages at the regional level. The goal of the reconstruction project is to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the Polotsk power hub (Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and the Verkhnedvinsky, Lepelsky, Rossonsky, Ushachsky, and Chashniki districts of the Vitebsk region).

As part of this modernization, the Polotskaya-330 PS itself and the approaches to it will be reconstructed, as well as an overhead line will be built.

For the project, the company "AGRISOVGAZ" produced about 655 tons of lattice supports for 110 kV transmission lines.

As of today, the completion of the power transmission line reconstruction work is scheduled for May 2025, and the modernization of the substation is scheduled for August 2025.
