Vladimir Putin visited a unique year-round greenhouse complex in Anadyr, the administrative center of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, and sampled the vegetables and herbs grown there.
The 1,152 m² industrial greenhouse, designed and supplied by AGRISOVGAZ, was developed specifically for use in the extreme climatic conditions of the Far North's coastal permafrost zone.
As a result of the project, more than 15,000 residents of the city and surrounding communities will have year-round access to up to 100 tons of fresh vegetables per year, grown using "light culture" technology, which will cover more than 50% of their consumption needs.
Today, AGRISOVGAZ plays a leading role in the development of the Russian greenhouse industry, acting not only as a manufacturer and supplier of primary process equipment but also as a full-scale engineering company that performs a full range of services:
- formation of the project concept;
- preliminary calculation;
- design;
- construction and installation works;
- commissioning.
