AGRISOVGAZ participated in the conference "Current Issues of Anti-Corrosion Protection"

AGRISOVGAZ experts participated in the international scientific and practical conference "Current Issues in Corrosion Protection." The event was held as part of the "Corrosion Protection" exhibition and congress from April 18-20 in St. Petersburg. Conference participants discussed developments by leading research institutes, practices of major companies, new technologies in corrosion protection, and other relevant issues.

The conference was opened and moderated by Andrey Anisimov, Deputy Director General for Research and Head of the Scientific and Production Complex "Non-Metallic Materials and Corrosion Protection" at the Kurchatov Institute Research Center - Central Research Institute of Structural Materials "Prometey."

He noted that today, corrosion damage amounts to quite large sums—up to 3.5% of GDP. If we consider all countries, this would be a stratospheric figure. The entire logic of corrosion management boils down to managing specific corrosion processes at all stages of the equipment lifecycle. The issue of corrosion is very complex, and there is currently no universal solution. This problem requires a comprehensive approach, which must be applied and implemented in modern Russian conditions.
