AGRISOVGAZ took part in the ROAD 2022 exhibition

AGRISOVGAZ took part in the international specialized exhibition ROAD 2022, which took place from October 12 to 14, 2022, at the Kazan EXPO IEC.

AGRISOVGAZ Group, Russia's largest industrial complex, presented technological solutions for the implementation of a five-year road development plan—the largest industry-wide government program in recent years.

The five-year road development plan, approved by the Russian Government on June 20, 2022, was the main theme of the "Road 2022" exhibition and forum. According to it, by the end of 2027, 110,000 km of roads, including 650 bridges, will be repaired in Russia, over 4,000 km of highways will be built and reconstructed, and another 3,000 km of highways will be widened to four lanes.

The program's main goals through 2027 are to implement road projects, increase the number of qualified road personnel, and improve the regulatory and technical framework. Funding for this purpose is allocated in the amount of 13.2 trillion rubles for 2023–2027.

The key objectives of the five-year plan include upgrading the Russian Federation's backbone road network, developing strategic transport corridors, improving accessibility to tourist clusters, modernizing the road network, and completing the construction of 46 bypasses around Russian cities and towns. This will divert transit traffic outside the urban road network, improve the quality of life in populated areas (including through environmental improvements), and further develop housing construction, creating new jobs.

The exhibition showcased technological solutions that can help achieve these objectives. One of the largest exhibits was the AGRISOVGAZ stand. Its 110-square-meter space showcased the latest road structures, including faceted lighting poles, high-mast lighting systems, noise barriers, automated traffic control system (ATCS) supports, and road barriers. These are essential components of highways and arterial roads, ensuring a high level of traffic safety. Their use reduces the risk of accidents and serious injuries to drivers and passengers.

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin paid a working visit to the exhibition. Also participating in the tour of the pavilions were Maxim Stepanov, Director of the Russian Government's Construction Department; Valentin Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Transport; Roman Novikov, Head of Rosavtodor; Vyacheslav Petushenko, Chairman of the Board of the Avtodor State Company; and Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
