Service units, boiler houses, energy centers
As part of the turnkey construction of greenhouse complexes, buildings and structures for service units and departments, free-standing and built-in boiler houses and energy centers with equipment are designed, supplied, and constructed.
The buildings of the specified infrastructure facilities of greenhouse complexes can be made either from greenhouse-type metal structures with translucent or combined glass panel fencing, or from light metal structures (LMS) for construction purposes with sandwich panel fencing.
There are two types: centralized power generation and combined heat and power plants. The latter (mini-CHPs) generate both heat and electricity and are designed according to individual projects for a specific greenhouse complex as a primary or supplementary energy source.
The efficiency of on-site power generation is particularly important for large greenhouse complexes, as well as those specializing in plant light cultivation, which require significant amounts of thermal energy with a stable supply throughout the growing season. This power supply is provided by individual power centers integrated into the greenhouse complex's structure.
They are located as close as possible to the consumers—the production greenhouses—and operate in optimal modes. The power generation equipment used includes Crone, NKV, and Viessmann hot water boilers with Zantingh and Puripher burners, Jenbacher, MVM, and Caterpillar gas piston units, and equipment from other specialized manufacturers, with efficiency calculations tailored to each facility.
Gas-fired boiler houses are designed based on the greenhouse complex's thermal energy needs. Two types of boiler houses are available: with built-in utility rooms (if needed) or automatic boiler houses with scheduled maintenance by visiting staff ... without the need for workstations. Boiler houses are equipped with water treatment and are fitted with Crone, NKV, and Viessmann hot water boilers with burners from Zantingh, Puripher, and other specialized manufacturers. Some boilers (based on calculations) are equipped with condensers for CO2 recovery from exhaust flue gases, regulating the content of harmful impurities. The design of the boiler house's main heat distribution unit is determined by calculations of the adopted heat supply scheme for the greenhouse complex, taking into account the range, capacity, and location of heat consumers.
